The Cornish Pirates have always maintained a strong relationship with the Cornish community, particularly in support of rugby clubs, schools and charities, and with an aim to be totally inclusive.

Our programmes include:

Cornish Pirates in The Community
This initiative offers high quality and sustained support across the whole of the county. Specifically, the Cornish Pirates aim to nurture developing rugby talent across Cornwall both on and off the field, working not only with players (of all ages and abilities) but also with the coaches, teachers and club officials who make up our distinctive wider rugby family.

The Schools’ Rugby Programme
Providing a unique sporting and learning experience, this programme is tailored to each school’s individual requirements. It can be completed during school hours or as an extra curriculum club. 

Cornish Pirates’ Rugby Camps
These offer a modern, innovative coaching experience that will develop the vital skills and techniques of rugby and so help build confidence, self-esteem, friendships and life skills.

Match Day Experience
Various clubs and schools have for years enjoyed participation on our Match Days. Indeed, the overall experience is one not to be missed.

Cornish Pirates ‘One and All’ Inclusion Programme
This provides enjoyable rugby experiences for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, whilst also delivering all the well-recognised health and self-esteem benefits of sporting participation. 

Round the World Challenge
In association with Mencap, Cornish Pirates are proud to be a delivery arm of 'Round the World Challenge', turning hours of fun sports and physical activities into a round the world adventure. Likewise, delivering the Penwith branch of the 'Get Set to Go' initiative with ‘Mind’ helps individuals choose a physical activity that is not only right for them but also helps them stick at it long enough to feel and benefit from the physical, social and mental benefits of being active.
