Fulham focus on getting men active

After the success of the #ThisGirlCan campaign, get ready for #ManMorning.

In collaboration with the Movember Foundation and Fitbit UK, Fulham Football Club Foundation are raising awareness of issues in men’s health and encouraging social connections and conversation amongst adult men.

This Saturday before Fulham’s Championship match against Birmingham City, the Foundation will host men from across London at Bishops Park for unashamed “sport, banter and giveaways”.

The day will begin with two hours of light activity, before further activities designed to raise awareness of health issues amongst the group. Then it’s on to the match at Craven Cottage.

Hugh Thompson, Health Coordinator at Fulham FC Foundation, explained: “Put simply, men need to talk more about their health and wellbeing. The event has been designed to build rapport between fans and get them talking, in a fun and friendly environment, about the things they can do to live healthier lives.”

In promoting the campaign, the Foundation promise: “It doesn’t get more manly than this!”
