Tags is a Community Interest Company that has been set up to provide safe swimming spaces for the transgender and non-binary community. We started in Lewisham in 2014 and run swimming in Lewisham, Swiss Cottage and Telford.

It is still extremely difficult for the trans community to access public leisure facilities. For many years trans identities were viewed by the media in a very negative way, and a community which has been marginalised for many years is only now starting to find a voice.

TAGS promotes any activity that supports physical and mental wellbeing. We are working with London Sport GLL and Fusion to support and promote safe swimming.
