England Golf

England Golf is one of the country’s largest sports governing bodies and looks after the interests of around 1,900 golf clubs and 651,000 men, women, boy and girl club members.

England Golf also:
- Promotes the game as being accessible, fun and family friendly
- Inspires new golfers with our Get into Golf campaign
- Encourages golfers to join clubs
- Works with partners to offer business support to clubs
- Runs championships and competitions for all ages and abilities,
- Develops talented golfers, such as Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood, Georgia Hall and Charley Hull.

“Growing the game of golf in England is about growing the game for all. We work with golf clubs to be more inclusive, more accessible and better connected to disabled people in their local community.” – Jamie Blair, England Golf Disability Manager

Golf and its unique handicap system allows players of all abilities and impairments to play against each other. You can play with friends or at your local club but we also recognise that disabled people may want to play with others with similar impairments.
