Cricket Without Boundaries
Dedicated to helping, educating and developing local communities around the world through cricket

Cricket Without Boundaries works in five sub-Saharan African countries to deliver cricket development alongside health and social messages. We also deliver in England and plan to deliver in Jordan. We work on the principle that sport - particularly cricket - is inclusive and accessible for all.

Project work is delivered in two-week blocks by our volunteers. These projects are vital for generating interest and excitement in cricket when delivering in new areas, and for sustaining and building on that interest in areas where the cricket is already established. A typical project will include schools and community coaching, coach education, and festival days where cricket skills can be tested and messages reinforced. We also fund ambassadors who coach all year round in country, developing cricket whilst also being role models and passing on crucial social messages.

Our key focus has been on messages around the prevention of HIV/AIDS. Over the last few years we have built on our work to use cricket as a tool to talk about living positively with HIV, gender equality, tackling FGM and social integration. We aim to have as much fun in our sessions regardless of cricketing ability whilst also creating an atmosphere to have positive conversations about health and social issues.

We are always looking for volunteers, both for projects and to help in the UK, and partners to work with. Please email info@cricketwithoutboundaries.com to start the conversation!
